Adding Goal Overlays to Your Stream
Display your tip goals on stream with real-time progress updates. Unlike other platforms, SPONSA lets you show multiple goal overlays simultaneously.
What Are Goal Overlays?
Goal overlays are browser sources you can add to your streaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.) that display your SPONSA goals on screen. They update automatically whenever someone tips - no manual refreshing needed.
Adding a Goal Overlay
- Log in to sponsa.app and go to My Page
- Find the goal you want to display
- Click the Goal Overlay icon - this copies the unique URL to your clipboard

- Open OBS (or your streaming software)
- Add a new Browser Source
- Paste the URL into the URL field
- Adjust width and height as needed

That's it! Your goal overlay is now live on your stream.
Adding Multiple Overlays
Each goal has its own unique overlay URL. To display multiple goals:
- Repeat the steps above for each goal you want to show
- Create a separate browser source for each goal
- Position them wherever you'd like on your stream layout

This is what makes SPONSA different - you can show your gaming fund, music reactions, and equipment goals all at once, letting different parts of your audience support what they care about!
Customising Your Overlays
You can resize and reposition overlays in OBS by:
- Dragging the corners to resize
- Dragging the source to reposition
- Right-clicking β Transform for precise sizing
Troubleshooting
Overlay not showing?
- Check the URL is correct (copy it again from SPONSA)
- Make sure the browser source is visible (eye icon in OBS)
- Try refreshing the browser source (right-click β Refresh cache of current page)
Overlay not updating?
- Refreshing shouldn't be needed, but try right-click β Refresh cache of current page if it's stuck
- Check your internet connection
